Happy to announce Inkpilots Images section. The main purpose of this section is collecting users on from the internet. We created a comprehensive library of images, curated to meet diverse needs. This section will feature a wide range of styles and subjects, offering users valuable tools for their creative projects.
How it works ?
Since there are many generated images inside Inkpilots Platform, we use those images to share with public. We have a batching algorithm to categorize images based on their prompts and where they generated. Then we share images online at the Inkpilots Images section. There is a catch. If you are not signed to application you are not be able to read the urls or download the high quality image. This way we extend our user base and users can have your images.
The Motivation
Storing images is a cost. So, we should benefit from it. Since, user workspaces are already shared in public. Inkpilots claims the commercial and noncommercial usage of generated images. But, there are problems, and downsides. First of all, hiding the original images is a problem. At this point, Vercel and Nextjs image optimization is there for us. We use optimized images on the unauthenticated users and try to convert them to authenticated users. We ensure that only authenticated users can access high-resolution versions while maintaining public sharing for exploration. This approach balances accessibility with security, allowing users to discover content without compromising their privacy. We try to convert regular visitors to users, however, for image optimization, we have to upgrade our Vercel plans to pro. Hope this manuver will pay back soon. Upgrading to Vercel Pro has many upsides. Now, there is no cold start and we are officially a Saas product company. This upgrade is a major step in our infrastructure and commitment to providing a robust platform experience.
This was a milestone for our application. There will be more. Stay tuned. Check out the platform.
